The location is on North Braddock at Bennett Street in Homewood where Pittsburgh Railways took all their car record pictures. Bennett Street was where state route 80 went through Homewood ... we used it to get to church in East Liberty every Sunday morning. The car is in original two-man configuration with roof gong. Passengers entered by the center door and left by the center door or the front door; the conductor was stationed in the middle of the car. Cars 4250-4299 were built by Standard Steel in 1914 and all except 4263 were scrapped between 1937 and 1942. Most were never converted to one-man and most never lost their Jones control. http://images.library.pitt.edu/cgi-bin/i/image/image-idx? sid=c4afc592005a8e6786fcebd0ce0466c7;xc=1;g=imls;q1=Pittsburgh% 20Railways;rgn1=ic_all;c=pghrail;evl=full- image;quality=2;view=entry;subview=detail;lasttype=boolean;cc=pghrail;en tryid=x-7429.0008.pr;viewid=74290008.TIF;start=201;resnum=219 http://tinyurl.com/PRCo-UOP
